Let’s win this thing for good.
Democrats had the best midterm elections for governors since 1986, lost fewer House seats than they have in any Democratic president’s first midterm in 40 years, and had the first midterm election since 1934 in which the party in power defended every state legislative majority!
State-level wins in key swing states, widespread support for abortion rights, as well as strong showings in AZ and NV with results that haven’t formally been declared, demonstrates that American democracy won’t go down without a fight.
With our momentum and less than a month to go, we must do everything to support Senator Warnock’s reelection campaign.
Donate: Warnock’s campaign, state/local parties, and a whole ecosystem of NGOs need our support for this mad spring to the Dec. 6 runoff. Early voting starts Nov. 28, the Monday after Thanksgiving!

Volunteer in Georgia: Georgia desperately needs in-person volunteers to canvass in person! It’s completely different from 2020 as we’re now vaccinated.

So much work remains ahead of us, especially if Democrats lose the House.
We got too caught up in GOP-backed polls. Pundits were wrong to say that voters don’t care about abortion and democracy as much as the economy. Post-Dobbs, millions live under regimes that force birth into an inflationary economy. If that’s not a pocketbook issue, I don’t know what is!
I remain terrified about the white nationalism held by millions of Americans, strengthened by gerrymandering in dozens of states and bolstered by our Supreme Court. Democrats stayed home in places where they felt abortion and democracy were safe, demonstrating ignorance of the GOP’s goal to shred “states rights” the second they have national power. White women voted Republican at an 8% higher rate than in 2020. Florida showed that DeSantis can carry the GOP’s white nationalism well when Trump isn’t officially attached to it.
Despite it all, I have a little more hope than I did before Tuesday. I hope you do, too.
